My son is four months old, and I wanted to hold off solids and breastfeed exclusively until his sixth month; however, he is a hungry bugger, and the pediatrician recommended that I start him between the third and fourth month. At three-and-a-half months, I began giving him rice cereal. Now at four months, I introduced him to peas, and he loves them! My strategy is to start him with the green vegetables, move on to the yellow and orange vegetables, and once he is accustomed to that, give him the fruits. I find that if you start them with the worst-tasting foods, they will be less picky in the future.
